This article describes the mission of a small Spanish town dedicated to using Open Source software. ?It isn't about the process of collaborative development or objections to intellectual property. It's about power to the people.? Government officials in many countries such as India, China, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Argentina, Australia, Bulgaria, Peru, and Ukraine are beginning to realize the
potential of Open Source software by releasing Linux variations in local languages.
