Sunset Park Family Health Center

2003-08-29 05:38:17

NPowerNY Case Study – Sunset Park’s Jim Stiles received a large federal grant to increase access to healthcare services for residents of SW Brooklyn. He assembled a coalition of nearly 400 community-based and faith-based organizations to help solve one of the community’s most intransigent problems: the growing number of uninsured children and adults. One obstacle to healthcare access is the massive amount of paperwork that is exchanged to screen and enroll individuals. As one of NYC’s most innovative health care leaders, Jim knew that technology would play a central role in the solution. He called in NPower NY to help think through the options. Together, he and NPower eRiders are working to overcome paperwork barriers and on promotion tools for projects partners. Click here for a link to the full story. /.pdf
